Frank Talk: Boston's Celebrity Chefs Rave About New Kayem Fenway Frank!
Culinary stars laud new Red Sox hot dog as "winner"
Chelsea, MA, May 19, 2009—The new Kayem Fenway Frank has received rave reviews since it was unveiled on Opening Day 2009 as the new, improved Official Hot Dog of the Boston Red Sox and Fenway Park. Most recently, some of Boston's biggest culinary stars raved about the iconic hot dog, praising the Kayem Fenway Frank as a "winner."
Ken Oringer, renowned chef at Clio, Toro, KO Prime and La Verdad Taqueria and recent winner of Food Network's Iron Chef competition commented that “the new [Fenway] frank is definitely quite an improvement: meatier, tastier.”
“It's a darn good dog, and hot dogs are probably one of my favorite foods,” gushed Oringer.
Lydia Shire, the beloved chef at Scampo, and owner of Boston's famous Locke Ober restaurant, and die-hard hot dog lover labeled the new Fenway Frank "quite delicious."
“I think the Fenway Frank is now a winner,” declared Shire.
Tom Schlesinger-Guidelli of the award winning Craigie on Main bistro gave the new Fenway Frank a thumbs up.
"It was so good I even ordered a second," said Schlesinger-Giudelli.
The trio of culinary luminaries commented on the Kayem Fenway Frank in a recent article published on Food & Wine's website.
