Cajun Style Hot Dog

Style Hot Dog


  • 1 14oz package of Kayem Skinless Beef Hot Dogs
  • 1 package of Kayem Frankfurter buns
  • Seafood mix (octopus, scallop, shrimp, crawfish)
  • Cajun seasoning, black pepper, salt and lemon
  • Optional: mustard, green onions

  • Preheat a grill to medium. Lightly oil the grill grates. Grill the Kayem hot dogs, turning, until lightly charred in spots, 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Toast the Kayem Frankfurter buns on the grill, about 30 seconds. Serve the hot dogs on the buns.
  • Meanwhile, add water to a stockpot. Squeeze juice from lemon halves into water, removing and discarding seeds; add squeezed lemon along with seafood mix.
  • Mix the seafood with cajun seasoning powder, salt and pepper and put them on top of the hot dogs.
  • Serve with green onions (and mustard source) as final touches.
