Creamy Potato Soup with Bacon

Sausage Fajitas

Ingredients

1 package Kayem Small Batch Pepper Jack Sausage

1/2 red bell pepper, 1/2 yellow bell pepper, 1/2 orange bell pepper

1 onion

2 tbsp oil

1 tbsp water

fajita seasoning

one package flour tortillas

cilantro, tomatoes, cheese, and sour cream for garnishing.

Fajita seasoning ingredients:

½ tsp of each:  salt, smoked paprika,  onion powder, and garlic powder

¼ tsp ground cumin

⅛ tsp of cayenne pepper and chili powder

Directions
  • In a cast iron skillet, add the oil and onions and sauté for 3 minutes
  • Add the peppers and cook for a few minutes
  • Add the fajita seasoning and the water and cook until the peppers are soft
  • Move the fajita veggies to another pan and set aside
  • Add the fully cooked sausages to the skillet and warm them up
  • Add fajita veggies back to the skillet and mix them together
  • Warm up the tortillas and add the sausage fajitas. Add some little pieces of tomatoes, cilantro, cheese, and sour cream on top
